We had six LoPeeps go through baptism classes with Joshua and then get baptized in a very special Sunday service. :) Though most of them weren't new believers, it was still neat to see. I hope that each one made a genuine committment to Christ and will go on to walk the walk, even in the rough culture in the mountains.
Funny, AIC is of the baptism-by-emersion persuasion, but it was dry season and the pumps keep breaking, so water was scarce and Joshua just dumped pitchers of water on them. You can take my word for it, though, that Joshua was very deliberate in getting every inch with that precious water. Haha. :)
